WE ARE THE PERSONAL
In 2015, as we celebrate our 53rd year in business, The Stelter Company and its staff of 100 wonderful individuals create marketing programs for nearly 2,000 charitable organizations nationwide, including hosting the websites of 1,300 nonprofits. We help organizations identify, educate, cultivate and inspire donors to support their charitable missions.
In simple terms, we first strategize with our clients to determine the most effective approach for reaching their prospective donor base about the possibility of making a major gift to the charity via planned giving methods. These may include an outright gift as well as bequests in wills or one of the many other tax-advantaged deferred giving options. We then develop and deliver targeted marketing campaigns to donors on behalf of the charity. We have the ability to seamlessly integrate gift-planning messages across all communication channels, including direct mail, Web and email.
In addition, we offer data enrichment of our clients’ donor data, relationship building training for donor development officers, and mail processing and fulfillment. We operate our own print, mail house and Web operations. Marketing campaigns are written and designed by an in-house creative team and can also be customized for the particular client.
With deep investments in research and development, the company has emerged as singularly capable of providing the benchmarks that nonprofits will rely upon for success in marketing planned gifts to every generation of Americans. Underlying this devotion to data, however, is an honest commitment to customer satisfaction, as well as employee retention and satisfaction.
Stelter has enjoyed admirable financial success over the years, particularly in the last decade or so as we have matured into a comfortably sized small business that caters to a national market and employs a strategically determined growth plan. We build a strategic plan annually and revisit our plan monthly to hold ourselves accountable to the outcomes. We have achieved our success through:
- + Product innovation.
- + Groundbreaking use of primary research.
- + A consultative approach with clients.
- + Subject matter expertise.
- + Care for our employees.
